This is the first thing a merchant asks before signing up: how long is this actually going to take? The answer depends on how many products you have, not on how complicated the platform is. Here is what actually happens, step by step.
The first minutes: the account and the store
You sign up with your name, your phone number and a password — no payment card. A six-digit code arrives over WhatsApp to confirm the number.
Then you create the store: its name, its link (Latin letters, numbers and hyphens), your line of business, and a country and currency. The name, the link, the business type and the currency can all be changed later in Settings, so do not stall on any of them now.
Your store opens straight away on the Classic template: a clean, neutral design that suits any business, with a home page carrying a banner, your products and a contact block. The store works from this moment, before you have added a single product.
The part that actually takes your time: the products
Each product needs three things: a name, a price and a photo. The photo is not required to publish, but it is the difference between a catalogue people browse and a list people read.
If your product comes in sizes or colours, you add those as variants, and the customer picks them while ordering instead of asking you. That extra minute per product is what removes the longest conversation of your day.
There is nothing to wait for
No store approval, no review, no hosting to buy, no domain to register. Your link, in the form yourstore.roowaj.com, works the moment it is created.
And no design decisions come before publishing: the template is already built, and you are filling a catalogue rather than assembling a website. Whenever you want a different look, you switch templates under Storefront → Templates without losing a single product.
Once the store works
The step most merchants forget is the one that matters most: put the link where the customer will see it. Your Instagram bio, your WhatsApp status, your Telegram channel description if you have one.
A beautiful store nobody has the link to takes no orders. After that you can adjust prices, reorder products and change colours whenever you like — nothing about publishing today commits you to how the store looks in a month.
