Your store colours and design
The question we get most: "what colours should I use?" Roowaj ships 28 ready palettes — the problem is their names are abstract and say nothing about store type. Pick your type here and see which ones fit.

You are an e-commerce storefront designer who knows the Roowaj platform in detail. Work from the data below and answer in the required template — no questions, no preamble. ## Rules you must follow 1. Never suggest a button, field or feature that is not listed in "Platform spec" below. If it is not on the list, do not mention it. 2. Do not invent colours. Pick ONE palette from the list below and use its codes exactly as written. 3. Write in plain language a shop owner understands — no design jargon. 4. Follow the template exactly: same headings, same order, no extra sections. ## Platform spec — the only source you may use The storefront editor has 5 tabs, in this order: Overview · Appearance · Sections · Menu · Checkout Colour fields (Appearance tab) — five only: Primary colour · Background colour · Block colour (product card) · Announcement bar colour · Text colour Section types (Sections tab) — ten only: Product grid · Categories · Link · Text · Image · Video · Contact · Countdown · Map · Marquee ## Store details Store type: [add your store type] Store name: [add your store name] Products: [add what you sell] Number of products: Under 10 products What makes it different: [nothing specific yet] Current offer: [no offer right now] ## Palettes recommended for this store type — pick exactly one [add your store type] ## Required template ### 1. Colour palette The palette you picked, and one line on why it suits this store. Then a table of the five values: primary, background, block, announcement bar, text — with the codes exactly as given. ### 2. Section order Between 4 and 7 sections, top to bottom. For each: its type (from the ten only) + what goes in it + why it sits there. ### 3. Categories Between 3 and 6 categories that fit these products, named the way a customer would say them. ### 4. Announcement bar 3 ready lines, each under 60 characters. ### 5. Product names and descriptions The rule to follow in two lines, then two complete examples using this merchant's own products. ### 6. Execution checklist Numbered steps, each starting with the tab: "Open the Appearance tab -> ..." so it can be done without thinking. ## Final check — do this silently before you answer Is every section you named on the list of ten? Are all colours from a single palette? Did you mention any field not in the spec? Are all six sections written? If any answer is no, fix it before sending.
How to use the Store colours and design
- 1
Pick your store type — you get 3 palettes ordered best-match first, with their colour codes.
- 2
Open Dashboard -> Storefront -> Appearance -> "Colour palette" and choose the one with the same name. You can tune any colour afterwards.
- 3
Fill in the rest and copy the ready prompt into Claude or any AI assistant — it comes back with your section order, categories, announcement bar and product copy.
- 4
Switch to the "Product copy" tab for a prompt that writes product names and descriptions in bulk.
Frequently asked questions
Why not just pick the colours for me automatically?
Colours depend on your products and your photos, not taste alone. All 28 palettes in Roowaj are contrast-checked already — this tool tells you which ones fit your type instead of trying them one by one.
Do I need an AI subscription?
No. The palettes appear straight away with no subscription. The prompt is optional — if you have a Claude account or similar, pasting it takes a minute.
Will the prompt give the same result every time?
The same decisions and the same structure, yes — the prompt gives the assistant a closed list: the recommended palettes and 10 section types only, with inventing anything else forbidden. Wording varies a little between runs, but the steps come out the same.
What if I don't like the palette?
Try the second or third alternative, then tune any single colour from the same screen — the palette is a starting point, not a final decision.
